With sincere apologies to Geoffrey Chaucer

When April with his showers sweet with fruit
The drought of March has pierced unto the root
And bathed each vein with liquor that has power
To generate therein and sire the flower;
When scholars seek the truth by questions bright
And on some thorny problems shine some light,
Then trolls and quacks in misspelled missives try
The honest scholar's labours to decry.
